Featured Port - Contecon Guayaquil S.A., Ecuador
In March 2007, ICTSI was awarded by the port authority of Guayaquil, Autoridad Portuario de Guayaquil (APG), a 20-year operating concession for the container and multi purpose terminals in Guayaquil (CGSA). The port was transformed earlier this year when Three Post Panamax 51MT Quay Cranes and Eight 41MT RTG Cranes arrived from ZPMC and entered operation during March. These are the first cranes of their type in Ecuador and will have a massive impact upon the efficiency of the terminal.
